Women's health is about more than reproductive care: cardiovascular disease (the #1 killer of women), thyroid and hormone shifts, autoimmune conditions, mental health, and a long list of issues that historically get under-investigated and under-treated. We listen, work it up properly, and treat it.

01

What we cover

Comprehensive primary care for women across every life stage:

  • Cardiovascular risk: blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes
  • Thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's, far more common in women)
  • Perimenopause and menopause evaluation, with hormone therapy started here when appropriate or referred when specialized care is needed
  • PCOS evaluation and treatment
  • Bone health and osteoporosis screening
  • Mental health: depression, anxiety, ADHD, postpartum mood
  • Preventive screening: mammogram, Pap, colon, lung, skin
  • Weight management, including GLP-1 medications
  • STI testing and contraception management (we coordinate with OB-GYN)
02

Perimenopause and menopause

The hormonal shift that starts in your 40s, sometimes earlier, drives a long list of symptoms that get missed for years: poor sleep, brain fog, weight changes, mood shifts, hot flashes, joint pain, and changes in libido. We evaluate properly and treat what we can here. When hormone therapy is clearly indicated, we can get you started and monitor how you respond. When ongoing or more specialized hormone management is the better fit, we refer you to a specialist and stay involved in your overall care.

03

Cardiovascular health for women

Heart disease kills more women than all cancers combined, but presents differently than in men and is routinely missed. We take cardiovascular risk seriously starting in your 30s, not after a problem.

04

Coordination with OB-GYN

We're your primary care home for everything not specifically obstetric or gynecologic, and we coordinate with your OB-GYN for prenatal care, complex gynecologic conditions, and procedures.

Questions, Answered

Frequently asked questions.

Don’t see your question? Reach out and we’ll answer it directly.

Do I still need a primary care provider if I see an OB-GYN?
Yes. OB-GYNs are specialists in reproductive and gynecologic health. Primary care manages everything else, heart, thyroid, mental health, preventive screening, chronic conditions. The two roles complement each other.
Can you prescribe hormone therapy for menopause?
When hormone therapy is appropriate for you, we can get you started after a full discussion of the benefits and risks, and we monitor how you respond. Some women need ongoing or more specialized hormone management, and in those cases we refer you to a specialist and coordinate that care. For many women, hormone therapy started in the right window can meaningfully improve symptoms.
Do you do annual women's exams?
We do comprehensive primary care annual exams including breast exams. Pap smears and pelvic exams are typically done by your OB-GYN, but we can refer or coordinate as needed.
Do you treat PCOS?
Yes. Polycystic ovary syndrome involves metabolic, hormonal, and reproductive issues. We manage the metabolic and hormonal components (insulin resistance, weight, irregular cycles, acne, hair changes) and coordinate fertility-related care with OB-GYN when needed.
